QF Group - Case Study
QF Group is a logistics company based in Central London with offices in Berkshire and Norfolk.
Steven Henderson - Managing Director of QF Group says:
"After many years of running our own internal network, we had again arrived at a point of renewing our server and all associated hardware and software. It seemed as soon as we had over come the teething problems of installing the new server it had become obsolete and unreliable and we were looking to purchase another.
Horizon had been supporting our hardware and had always proved extremely reliable and helpful. When we heard they had launched Workplacelive, we were keen to see what it could do and importantly for us how reliable it was.
Initial tests proved extremely encouraging but we were all a little concerned regarding the speed and reliability in a busy working environment. Our concerns were never realised, Workplacelive is so much more reliable than any of our previous internal networks.
As a direct result of Workplace live we have managed to make a number of substantial reductions to our overheads. On a personal level it has enabled me to work from home and travel with the knowledge I can keep in touch with work any time.
I don't believe we have yet encountered any problems worth a mention. The few minor enquiries have always been dealt with in a manner that I would expect from my own company. I telephoned late one Friday evening to leave a message for Monday morning. To my amazement the phone was answered and problem dealt with there and then."
